Vinh Hoi hotel and resort project’s construction officially kicked off

On the afternoon of April 19, 2022, at Vinh Hoi village, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district, Viet My Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Vinh Hoi hotel and resort project. The cemony was attended by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Nguyen Phi Long, the PPC Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh, the PPC Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang, leaders and representatives of concerned departments, the Economic Zone Management Board, the People's Committees of Phu Cat district and Cat Hai Commune.

Vinh Hoi hotel and resort project consists of two phases, to be constructed on an estimated area of 235.6 hectares. Phase 1 of the project is implemented on 96.85 ha and has been allocated land by the Provincial People's Committee and it is expected to go into operation in 2024. Phase 2 shall be implemented on an area of 139.03 ha, completed in 2028.

The project's objective is to invest in the construction and trading of villas in the resorts, trading accommodation services, hotels, restaurants and other ancillary services and golf course.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Brook Colin Taylor, General Director of Viet My Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company sincerely thanked the support of the PPC’s leadership and related departments for the project. The company is committed to speeding up the project, and ensuring that the project shall achieve its registered goals with high quality. When completed and put into operation, it will become an iconic symbol of Binh Dinh tourism, contributing to attracting tourists to the locality.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh emphasized that with the goal of turning Binh Dinh tourism into a spearhead economic sector, over the last few years the local government has focused on investing in transport infrastructure and upgrading Phu Cat Airport, embellishing cultural-historical relics, upgrading routes into tourist areas, relic areas...; which is aimed to convert Binh Dinh into an attractive and safe destination for tourists.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested the investor to work closely with the authorities throughout the project’s construction process, to gather modern machinery, equipment and human resources and organize the construction in accordance with the approved plan and design documents.

Vinh Hoi hotel and resort project is a large-scale project; when completed and put into operation, it shall produce unique and attractive products to attract tourists, contributing to promoting Binh Dinh tourism development and creating jobs and increasing income for local people, especially those in Cat Hai commune.
