Approving the 1:500 scale plan of a rest stop for sightseeing to the south of Vinh Hoi Pass

On August 12, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee approved the detailed construction planning of 1/500 scale for a rest stop for sightseeing to the south of Vinh Hoi Pass, Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district. Planning area is 9,641.6m2.

The planning area is located in Cat Tien town, Phu Cat district, bordered to the North, East and South by Trung Luong tourist area; the West by the new DT.639 road. The planning's objectives are to build a rest stop to serve the local community and visitors, and to create a new destination for local tourism.
The total planning area is 9,641.6m2, of which land for service area is 313.6m2; land for flower gardens and green trees is 3,244.3m2; land for traffic, technical infrastructure is 6,083.7m2. Regarding architectural plan, including symbolic works (maximum height of 6m); service area, souvenir shop and cafeteria, public toilet area (taking advantage of the terrain difference below the Square) with an area of 313.6 m2; a bridge for sightseeing is 4-12m wide, with a minimum static height of +3.6m compared to the height of DT.639 road (old).
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with Phu Cat District People's Committee and relevant agencies to organize the announcement and spread of the approved planning scheme and put the landmarks in the field. Also, the Department of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility and coordinate with relevant agencies in inviting investment in accordance with the approved plan.
