Over the last 39 years of operation, the race has organized 295 Grand Prix events in more than 33 countries across continents. The UIM F1H2O World Championship and UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Binh Dinh Grand Prix 2024 will take place from March 22, 2024 - March 31, 2024 at Marina - Thi Nai Bay, Quy Nhon city , pacify the province.
To contribute to effectively implementing the tasks assigned by the central government, promoting diplomatic relations, expanding cultural, sports, tourism and international cooperation through the event, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has coordinated in cooperation with Binh Dinh F1 Joint Stock Company to organize the race, specifically:
- The UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship takes place from March 22 - 24, 2024, with about 70 racers from 30 countries around the world participating in the competition.
- The UIM F1H2O International Professional Powerboat Race takes place from March 29 - 31, 2024, with Binh Dinh - Vietnam powerboat team as a highlight, who represents the host country competing with about 9 teams from the countries that develop the sport such as China, Saudi Arabia, France, Finland, Turkey...
- Amazing Binh Dinh Fest consists of 2 events, the opening and closing events, will be held impressively and uniquely with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, people, domestic and international tourists; famous stars and take place on the evening of March 22 and March 31 and broadcast live on Vietnam Television.
- Throughout the race event series, there will be numerous activities with the goal of attracting tourists, promote foreign investment attraction, specifically:
+ The first traditional boat and stand-up paddleboard race in Binh Dinh province in 2024 take place from March 25 - 27, this is an important activity of the program before the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024. It is expected that about 250 - 300 racers will participate, including: Racers in the province and racers from the provinces and cities nationwide and foreigners working and living in Vietnam; Binh Dinh Marathon in response to the Olympic running day for the health of all people on the morning of March 28;
+ Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival takes place from March 22 - 24, with the party "Buffer 77 unique and quintessential dishes of Binh Dinh " (opening on March 22) as a special part, Michelin chef program exhibition (on April 23);
+ Cultural and artistic activities will take place in the evenings from March 23 to March 31, including some highlights such as: Amazing Binh Dinh Fest; street music activities; Binh Dinh martial arts night; Street Carnival; International music night with world famous stars; performing Aquabike show...
+ Activities on the sidelines of the race such as: Investment promotion conference in Binh Dinh province; Gala Meeting with investors; Information and propaganda conference with foreign news and press agencies in Vietnam...
