Finished salangane’snest product

The project will use an areaof about 1,036 m² with the objective to promote the productionof Salangane' nest products; supply of organic vegetables and herb plantsto consumers; increasing export activity for foreign exchange for thecountry. The project is planned to have total capital of VND 2.7 billion,raising 10,000 salanganes and yield from agricultural plants is around 1,550kg/year.

Salangane’s nest has longbeen considered as a product with high value and "white gold" of theworld or "Caviar of the East". The value of the bird’s nest isthanks to the high nutritional effects of this special kind of food. However,at present, raising facilities of salanganes are not well invested; therefore,the products do not meet the requirements of the market in terms of quality andfood hygiene. Also the market has increasing need for safe and organic herbplants, which is also orientation of the production nationwide.

The project is expectedto go into operation in the quarter 4 of the year 2016 and to enhance thefarming of salanganes and production of organic herb plants in the locality.Salanganes in Binh Dinh is aimed to build a brand name with orientation towardexport.
