Binh Dinh ranked in the Mid-High group of PCI ranking 2014

On the morning of 16/4/2015, theannouncing ceremony of the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) took place inHa Noi. The event was attended by the leaders of the central government andlocalities. Department of Planning and Investment and Centre for InvestmentPromotion participated in this event.

The PCI report of year 2014 announced the survey outcomes of9,859 non-state enterprises and 1.491 foreign-invested enterprises regardingthe provincial governance in establishing an environment with favourablepolicies for business development. This year, PCI report announces evaluationof foreign-invested enterprises about the business environment in Vietnam,evaluation of Vietnam enterprises on opportunities and challenges of Trans-PacificPartnership (TPP) and reality of labour relation in Vietnamese enterprises.

Accordingly, Binh Dinh ranking increases one place from 18th(year 2013) to 17th (belonging to Mid-high group)

Five localities of the Central key-economic region have theranking as follows: Da Nang (the first), belonging to Excellent group), QuangNam (14th, Mid-High), Quang Ngai (2oth, Mid-High), Thua Thien Hue(13th, Mid-High) and Binh Dinh (18th, Mid-High)

Five localities ranked on the top (Excellent) are Da Namg, Dong Thap,Lao Cai, Ho Chi Minh, Quang Minh.
