On 31/7/2014,the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) signed a Decision to establish BinhDuong industrial cluster (IC) in Phu My district and Phu An IC in Tay Sondistrict.
Covering75 ha, Binh Duong IC is planned to attract investment in: forestry productsprocessing for export and domestic consumption; granite stone, titanium,machinery processing; manufacture of coconut fibre, cardborad boxes, plasticsproducts, steel rolling, incense and packing material,
PhuAn IC covers 35.7 ha, planned to attract investment in: machinery, constructionmaterial; granite stone processing, agriculture-forestry products processing, garmentand other consumer commodities.
Sofar, many ICs have been planned and constructed in Binh Dinh province, whichhelps generate positive driving force for development of industries andreduction of environmental problems. In addition, the established ICs alsocontribute to improving infrastructure, administrative procedures, raisingproduction value, creating more jobs…
