On the afternoon of 30^th March,Binh Dinh People's Committee held a ground breaking ceremony Hai Giang tourismarea invested by Hai Giang Joint Stock Company of VinGroup.  The ceremonywas attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Former Deputy PrimeMinister Truong Vinh Trong, representatives of central ministries, Binh Dinhprovincial leaders and leaders of departments and enterprises in theprovince. Picture: Ground breaking ceremony.

Besides, Vingroup also plans to construct atourism cable system in Quy Nhon Citywith a total length of some one kilometer running from Mui Tan to Tran Hung Daostatue in Phuong Mai Peninsula.

According to Mr Le Khac Hiep, VicePresident of Vingroup: Hai Giang Tourism Area covers ​​656.25 hectares, with atotal invested capital of VND 3,500 billion. Being constructed for 5 years, HaiGiang is divided into four main functional areas: 18-hole golf course andresort villas administration centre; cultural building and hotel; apartment centreincluding the park, amusement area, apartment hotels, villas, bungalows; luxuryresort including the complex of a five-star hotel, a shopping mall ofworld-class; the marina and bungalow area with restaurants, bathing service….

Phase 1 of the project will be constructedfor 14 months and consists of 1.5 km cable crossing the sea from Mui Tan in QuyNhon to Tran Hung Dao Statue in Phuong Mai Peninsula; 5 star resort andrecreation area.

Mr Tran Bac Ha, Chairman of BIDV - the financingunit for the investor said that Binh Dinh had many advantages to developtourism such as possessing a wide variety of beautiful mountains, rivers,swamps, lakes, islands, being the capital of Champa ancient kingdom of Champa.Nowadays, Binh Dinh has quite convenient traffic system of roads, seaway andairway. Therefore, when completed, Hai Giang tourism area will be the focalpoint for tourism in Binh Dinh, linking sea tourism with mainland tourism.
