Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan speaks at the meeting

Speaking at the meeting, PPC Chairman Mr Pham Anh Tuan acknowledged the role and strengths of the investor, and at the same time had specific exchanges of information related to the investment needs of investors coming to Binh Dinh:

- Regarding the waste treatment: Mr Pham Anh Tuan introduced the Hoai Nhon Waste Incineration Plant project with a capacity of 250 tons/day, in the future the amount of waste to be treated will increase to about 500 tons/day for SE&A to study and invest.

- Regarding the wastewater treatment: This is an area that Binh Dinh province is in great need of, including urban areas, industrial parks, and industrial clusters in the province. Currently, the Province is proposing to implement wastewater treatment projects in three localities using ODA loans: Hoai Nhon town with a total capacity of 7,000 m3/day and night, An Nhon town with a capacity of 10,000 m3/day and night, Tay Son district with a capacity of 5,000 m3/day and night. Currently, in Binh Dinh province, districts, industrial parks and industrial clusters are in need of investment in wastewater treatment systems. In the case SE&A has good technology and reasonable costs, the province will arrange capital to cooperate with SE&A to implement, and will introduce SE&A to investors in infrastructure of industrial parks and industrial clusters.

- Regarding the water supply: Binh Dinh province has high demand, but it is scattered, so the capacity scale of the project is small. Therefore, SE&A needs to re-examine the suitability of the technology compared to the actual situation in the locality.

At the same time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan informed about the investment cooperation situation between Binh Dinh and Korea, projects of Korean investors in Binh Dinh; development orientation, priority investment areas, current investment incentive policies of Binh Dinh province and the potentials, strengths, comparative advantages between Binh Dinh and other provinces.
