On the morning of August 26 in Hanoi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang had a meeting with Dr. Bader Almatrooshi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Vietnam within the framework of the UAE - Vietnam Business Forum 2024. The meeting was attended by the leaders of the Departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Industry and Trade, Transport and the Provincial Economic Zone Administration.

the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Tu
Cong Hoang was pleased to meet the Ambassador again, expressing his respect and
gratitude for the Ambassador’s taking
the time to visit the province in March 2024. At this meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tu
Cong Hoang insisted that Mr Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi would be a bridge to
introduce eligible UAE businesses and investors to explore investment and cooperation
opportunities in the province in areas of mutual interest such as seaports and
logistics, industry and technology, renewable energy, and urban development.

Tu Cong Hoang informed that the team would will work bilaterally with Abu Dhabi
Ports Group, Dubai Ports World, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abu
Dhabi Investment Authority, Mubadala Investment, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce
and Industry, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, which are large corporations,
enterprises, and investment funds of the UAE, opening up opportunities for
cooperation, economic development, and investment between the two sides.

Mr Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi affirmed that the friendship
and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and the UAE have developed
positively in recent times. Economic cooperation has always been an important
pillar and a bright spot in bilateral cooperation. The year 2024 is also a special
year in the bilateral relationship, marking the 31st anniversary of the
establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the UAE and the
official launch of negotiations on the Vietnam - UAE Comprehensive Economic
Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The two countries still have a lot of room to
further develop bilateral trade and many good cooperation opportunities in
areas such as tourism, sports, etc.
At the meeting, Mr Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang proposed Mr
Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi to continue Binh Dinh in acting as a bridge to
connect, introduce UAE businesses to explore investment opportunities in the
province in areas of mutual interest such as seaports and logistics, industry
and technology, etc.; also to continue to support provincial businesses in
expanding business activities, promoting trade to bring the province's
strengths to the UAE market; continue to support tourism promotion activities
through information exchange, propaganda documents, and tourism development
promotion between two sides; introduce, connect, and help Binh Dinh province
promote the establishment of friendly cooperation and cultural exchange with
suitable localities of the UAE; proposing Mr Ambassador send information of Binh
Dinh province to large corporations of the UAE such as: Dubai Refreshments,
Amlak Finance, International Holdings Company - IHC, Abu Dhabi Ports Group,
Emirates, Etihad Airways... or investors and investment funds coming to the
event so that investors know about Binh Dinh province.
Mr Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang shared the information that in
December 2024, a delegation of Binh Dinh province would send a mission to the
UAE. Therefore, the delegation hoped that the Ambassador would support Binh
Dinh province in connecting with business partners with strengths in trade, services,
tourism, manufacturing industry, agricultural processing, smart cities,
artificial intelligence, ... and some large investment funds so that the
province has the opportunity to contact and promote investment.

Ambassador Bader Almatrooshi welcomed and appreciated the
province's upcoming visit to the UAE and promised to choose partners that are
suitable with the potential of Binh Dinh province.
