Meeting with the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands on the afternoon of July 14, 2024

On this occasion, the delegation pays visits to and meets with leaders, investors and corporations in these potential markets, also the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, an electrolyzer and hydrogen gas production plant in Germany, the German Association of Global Economic Development and Foreign Trade; surveys the economic model in Giverny, Normandy region, France...

Following the work schedule, on the afternoon of July 14, 2024, the delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands. The team was welcomed by Mr Ngo Huong Nam – the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Viet Nam in the Netherlands, Ms Vo Thi Ngoc Diep – the Vietnamese Trade Counselor in the Netherlands and officials in the Embassy.

Mr Ambassador Ngo Huong Nam was pleased to welcome the delegation of Binh Dinh province to the Netherlands and to visit the Embassy. He emphasized that the visit to the Netherlands by the Binh Dinh province delegation was very meaningful, in the context of the comprehensive partnership between Viet Nam and the Netherlands which was developing very well. Accordingly, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands has actively promoted economic diplomacy activities between the two countries; at the same time, regularly supported and connected localities in cooperative activities with Dutch partners.

Mr Le Kim Toan - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee thanked Ambassador Ngo Huong Nam for the warm welcome. He revealed the delegation’s main goal was that Binh Dinh province wished to promote cooperation with European partners, including the Netherlands.

Binh Dinh leadership hoped that the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands and personally Mr Ambassador Ngo Huong Nam and Ms Vo Thi Ngoc Diep would continue to support, becoming an important bridge to help Binh Dinh connect and seek opportunities, attract investment and promote trade with Dutch partners, especially inviting Dutch businesses to invest in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park.

Mr Le Kim Toan conveyed his congratulations and believed that Mr Ambassador Ngo Huong Nam would have a successful term and make great contributions to the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and The Netherlands as well as the relationship of Dutch partners and Binh Dinh province.

On the following day, the delegation organized an investment and trade promotion seminar in the Netherlands. In addition, the delegation had a working session with authorities and partners in Groningen Province, the Netherlands.
