The delegation of Binh Dinh province meets with a leading corporation in Thailand

On the afternoon of February 29, 2024, Binh Dinh Province’s delegation had a meeting and discussed a number of investment aspects with C.P. group - one of the world's largest animal feed manufacturers headquartered in Thailand. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Somsak Lertchai – the Executive Director of the packaging industry of C.P. group.

The meeting took place at the C.P. can and packaging factory in Bangkok (Thailand), which belongs to C.P. Group. This is the final activity after a series of meetings and contacts with Thai government agencies and businesses of the investment, trade and tourism promotion delegation of Binh Dinh province.
It is known that C.P Group is a large corporation, operating in 16 fields, present in over 20 countries, has 200 subsidiaries in 18 countries and employing 300,000 workers worldwide. In Vietnam, CP Foods is one of the first large foreign enterprises to invest in our country in the post- Doi Moi (Renovation) period. Entering the Vietnamese market in 1993, the Group built the country's first large-scale animal feed processing factory in Dong Nai.
In Binh Dinh province, C.P. Group is investing in several projects such as: Binh Dinh Feed Factory in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon town with a value of USD 36 million; C.P Vietnam Slaughter Factory Project in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon Town with a value of USD 7 million; Clean shrimp hatchery project in Phu My district with investment capital of 4 million USD; Garment and Outdoor apparel distribution factory project with a value of USD 3.5 million.
At the meeting, representatives of C.P. Group assessed that the Binh Dinh market had much potential, so the company is very interested in investment opportunities in the province. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan thanked C.P. Group for its contributions in investment in Binh Dinh. He said that Binh Dinh province has always welcomed and supported C.P Group's projects, which indirectly supported farmers.
Through this occasion, Chairman Pham Anh Tuan wished that C.P. Group would provide more support for large farms so that farmers in general and livestock breeders can benefit more, especially in purchasing price.
Binh Dinh province’s delegation appreciated and expressed thanks to the Group's investment in the province, emphasizing that it was the foundation for the Group to have new projects in Binh Dinh province in the future. Binh Dinh Province commits to creating all favorable conditions for the Group's projects to develop sustainably and stably.
