At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan briefed on Binh Dinh's development potentials, especially the marine economic potentials, including marine tourism which attracts many domestic and foreign investors.

Krabi is a province located in the south of Thailand, about 500km from Bangkok capital and deep in the Andaman Gulf. This place was once considered by many people to be the "sleeping paradise" of Thailand, because it possesses many beautiful beaches in the world that are still unknown to many tourists. With similarities, two parties realize they can cooperate and conduct in-depth research in the tourism, aquaculture, and large timber plantation.

Representatives of Krabi province businesses proposed that the two sides soon establish bilateral working groups to carry out in-depth discussions, exchanges and implement specific cooperation, especially in tourism and agriculture. On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan respectfully invited Krabi businesses to coordinate in organizing surveys and research trips in Binh Dinh province and establish cooperation in the near future.

Recently, Asean countries have agreed to cooperate on tourism, this trip of the delegation is also for that purpose. The aim is that when tourists come to Binh Dinh, they  to visit Kkrabi and vice versa? The further goal is to organize chat flights between the two localities.
