Leaders of Binh Dinh province visits Cuhxaven Port (Germany)

Within the framework of the investment promotion trip to Germany, on April 17, 2023, the provincial delegation led by Mr Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee made a visit to Cuxhaven Port under the Rhenus Group in Cuxhaven, Germany.

At the meeting, Mr. Michael de Reese, Chief Executive Officer of Rhenus Group gave an overview of the Group system. Rhenus Group is one of the world's leading logistics enterprises with activities spread on global scale. The Group employs approximately 31,000 staffs across 1,120 locations around the world. The Rhenus Group provides solutions for a variety of sectors along the complete supply chain, including multimodal transport, warehousing, customs clearance as well as innovative value-added services, road transport, shipping and air transport. He also said that among the Group's ports, Cuxhaven Port is one of the ports with strengths in logistics in general, transportation of wind power equipment in particular, and a long-term partner with PNE Group.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung asserted that with the prestige of a pioneering corporation in the field of logistics in the world, operating on a global scale and with more than 100 years of experience, Rhenus Group will come to Binh Dinh province to explore investment opportunities because Binh Dinh has a good variety of conditions for the development of the Group's port and logistics system such as 134km of coastline and many airtight straits. Binh Dinh is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for the Group to carry out their research and survey in the area.

At the invitation of the Secretary, Mr. Michael de Reese, CEO and Executive Director of Rhenus Group, will accompany PNE Group to Binh Dinh in the near future to make preparations for cooperation with Becamex, PNE in logistics in general and wind power projects in particular.
