Binh Dinh is holding an investment promotion webinar with the Netherlands

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued an approval of organizing an investment cooperation event with the Dutch market in online and face-to-face forms. The webinar shall be held at the Office of the Provincial People's Committee or the Provincial Convention Center in the first week of November 2022.

European countries are now considered as strategic economic partners in terms of trade, ODA and direct investment of Vietnam. They have advantages in many aspects: advanced manufacturing industries, capital potential and high level of management experience. However, the cooperation relationship between Binh Dinh and these countries is still limited, not many investors from Europe make investment in Binh Dinh province. Therefore, the webinar will be an opportunity for Binh Dinh province in general and Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh in particular to introduce and promote investment promotion policies and favorable conditions more strongly. The provincial leadership is striving to attract significant and effective projects to the locality, quickly convert Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh into a dynamic industrial park, contributing to promoting and creating breakthroughs in the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province.
The Netherlands is currently ranked 8th out of 140 countries and territories with direct investment capital in Vietnam. Currently, Dutch enterprises invest in 380 projects, with a total value of VND 13.55 billion. The projects are mainly implemented in southern provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Dong Nai province, Binh Duong province... Except for some remarkable projects in oil, gas, beer, food production areas, Dutch projects are generally of small and medium scale. Many Dutch investment projects in Vietnam operate very efficiently, with famous large companies such as Heineken, Unilever, Roroyal Dutch Shell, Philips, Akzo Nobel Coating...
In Binh Dinh, there is one project of an investor from the Netherlands, namely the animal feed processing factory project of De Heus Co., Ltd. with total value of UDS 20,095 million.
