Hoai An, Tay Son attract 2 manufacture projects in industrial clusters

On August 4, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee approved the policy for Hoai An Paper Material Limited Company to invest in a wood chips and saw mill for export in Go Bang Industrial Cluster, Hoai An district, and for Hai Dang General Trading Production Limited Company to invest in a factory for manufacturing wood bars and finished products at Hoc Bom Industrial Cluster, Tay Son district.

The wood factory of sawing wood and producing wood chips for export of Hoai An Paper Material Limited Company registers to make investment at Lot C3, D1, D2, E, F of Go Bang Industrial Cluster, An My Commune, Hoai An district, on an area of ​​about 3.2 hectares. The project investment objective is to produce wood planks with a capacity of 80,000 tons/year and wood chips of 120,000 tons/year, with a total value of VND 40 billion. The project registers to be completed and put into operation in June 2024.

Up to now, Go Bang Industrial Cluster in Hoai An district has only attracted 1 project that has been put into operation, with the occupancy rate of 18.1% of the industrial land. The registration of Hoai An Paper Material Limited Company to invest in the above project goes in line with the industries attracting investment in Go Bang Industrial Cluster, which helps to increase the occupancy rate of the Industrial Cluster. Furthermore, the investment shall create jobs and income for local workers, contributing to socio-economic development for Hoai An district.

And the wood bar and finished product manufacturing factory of Hai Dang General Trading Production Limited Company registers to make investment on Lot CN13, Hoc Bom Industrial Cluster, Binh Nghi Commune, Tay Son District, on an area of ​​9,521 m2. The project shall produce 6,500m3/year of timber bars; 3,500 m3/year of peeled board; investment capital of VND 7.62 billion. The construction will be completed in the first quarter of 2024 and the factory shall be put into operation.

Currently, the province has 21 wood chip processing factories with total design capacity of 1,150,300 BDMT/year and 26 wood pellet factories with total designed capacity of 1,725,000 tons/year; the total demand for input material for processing of the 47 factories mentioned above is about 4.46 million tons of raw wood per year.
