New investment in expanding, building and repairing boats in Phu Cat district

Recently, Ngoc Chau Limited Company was approved by the Provincial People's Committee to invest in its project of expanding, building and repairing boats in Cat Minh commune, Phu Cat district.

The project is built on an area of ​​5,000m² with a design capacity of 20 boats of 400 CV/year, repairing about 300 boats of all kinds. The project is invested with a total capital of VND 8.1 billion. The implementation shall be completed in the second quarter of 2023. The project created jobs for about 62 workers, including 30 regular workers and 32 seasonal workers.

The fact that Ngoc Chau Limited Company expands its investment meets the needs of building and repairing boats in Phu Cat and Phu My districts and neighboring localities. On the other hand, according to the orientation of Binh Dinh province, in the future, fishing boats anchored at Quy Nhon fishing port will have to be relocated to anchor in De Gi lagoon area. Therefore, upgrading and expanding the existing facilities in the coastal area of ​​De Gi lagoon are essential.
