Starting construction of the first industrial project in Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park

On the morning of May 24, 2022, KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd (100% capital of the Federal Republic of Germany) organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Company's production factory at Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Van Canh district (belonging to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone). The ceremony was attended by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Vietnam, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the leaders of the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment, the Provincial Economic Zone Administration and Van Canh District People's Committee.
Groundbreaking ceremony for construction of KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd.'s plant
The factory of KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd. has the goal of producing high-tech emulsions and thin films for the automotive, electronics and printing industries... with a total investment of USD 40 million. The project is implemented on a total area of 12 hectares of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park. According to the plan, the project shall be divided into two phases. Phase 1 shall be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2023, with a capacity of 15,000,000 m2 of products/year, which is expected to create jobs for approximately 130 Vietnamese workers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Cosima Freiin von Salis-Soglio, General Director of Kurz Vietnam Co., Ltd. briefed on the development process of Kurz Group, its thin film manufacturing field and its development plan in the upcoming future. After surveying many localities in Vietnam, Kurz Group chose Binh Dinh make a start for investment in Vietnam so that it could expand production in Asia. Dr. Cosima Freiin von Salis-Soglio sincerely thanked for dedicated support of leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and concerned authorities for the company. The company was committed to mobilize its resources to complete the project in accordance with the registered schedule.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Management Board of the Provincial Economic Zone Nguyen Tuan Thanh appreciated the efforts of Kurz Group over the last two years; he requested responsible departments, sectors, Van Canh District People's Committee and Becamex Binh Dinh Co., Ltd. to coordinate and create favorable conditions for the investor throughout the project implementation process.
At the ceremony, KURZ Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 700 million VND to Van Canh District People's Committee in order to build 8 gratitude houses and 1 fairy garden for kindergarten in Canh Hiep commune. New CC Construction Consultant Co., Ltd., the project’s contractor, also donated VND 200 million to Can Canh District People's Committee to carry out social security activities in the locality.
