Binh Dinh pilots receiving international tourists

Together with Da Nang, Kien Giang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Ho Chi Minh city, and Binh Dinh province has officially been allowed to welcome international visitors from the beginning of 2022.

 

According to the direction of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh: "People's Committees of provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh city, Da Nang, Kien Giang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Binh Dinh and related agencies, based on their assigned obligations, tasks and authorities, continue to be proactive, start welcoming international tourists to Vietnam safely and effectively”.

In recent years, Binh Dinh has become a prominent tourist destination on the tourist map of Vietnam. Binh Dinh owns a natural treasure with many golden sandy beaches such as Quy Nhon, Tam Quan, Tan Thanh, Vinh Hoi, Trung Luong, Hai Giang, Yen Island, including wonderful beaches for swimming such as Hoang Hau, Quy Hoa, Bai Dai, Tan Phung, Vinh Loi. Besides, the locality lures a great number of visitors due to its unique culture, history and friendliness of local people. Binh Dinh is well-known with many traditional craft villages such as Bau Da wine, fine art carpentry, pottery, Bun Song Than (green bean vermicelli) , Coconut water rice paper, sesame rice paper.

It is expected that by April 2022, Binh Dinh will receive two flights per week with about 2,000 guests from Korea and Japan, on charter flights to Phu Cat airport - Binh Dinh. If the epidemic is under control, international tourists can enter the inner city in closed tours.

With the purpose to produce positive images and serve tourists well, Binh Dinh has made good investment in infrastructure, creating modernity and openness in traffic and movement. In addition, accommodation facilities and tourism businesses have opened up their service and been ready to welcome guests. About 2,000 5-star standard rooms on Phuong Mai peninsula are ready for international guests.

From now to the end of 2022, Binh Dinh aims to receive approximately 3.4 million visitors and by the end of 2025, 8 million tourists will come to visit the locality.
