Hoai Nhon township develops in accordance with the model of One axis - Two wings - Four centers

The planning adjustment includes adjustment of land use planning; adjustment of the technical infrastructure system.

Regarding adjustment of land use planning: Locally adjusting land use in a number of areas to suit the socio-economic development situation of Hoai Nhon township and relevant specialized planning, ensuring feasibility of the implementation in accordance with the planning; supplementing the land resource for urban development in Hoai Thanh and Hoai Thanh Tay wards in order to use the land resource along the province's new route; supplement the land resource for industrial development in line with the province's industry development orientation.

Regarding the adjustment of technical infrastructure system: Adjusting the road boundaries of some roads, updating project designs of approved roads, adding new routes approved by the Provincial People's Committee.  

Accordingly, the urban land area for construction after adjustment is 2,991.82 hectares, an increase of 493.62 hectares compared to the approved plan (2,498.2 hectares), specifically:

- The area of civil land is 1,821.96 hectares, reaching the target of 75.9m2/person, an increase of 150.96 hectares compared to the approved plan (1,671 hectares);

- The area of non-residential land after adjustment is 1,169.86ha (increasing by 342.66ha due to the addition of land for industrial development and industrial clusters);

- Other land area after adjustment is 39,092.56 hectares (a decrease of 493.62 hectares) due to conversion to other functions mentioned above.

The contents which are not approved for adjustment and supplementation will still be implemented according to the Decision on construction general plan of  Hoai Nhon urban area until 2035 approved by Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee on June 27, 2019.
