Celebrating 44th National Day Anniversary of Lao PDR

On the afternoon of December 2, 2019, Quy Nhon University in collaboration with the authorities of Binh Dinh province celebrated the 44th National Day Anniversary of the Lao PDR (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2019). The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, concerned departments and organizations of Binh Dinh province, Vietnamese teachers and students and foreign students and especially Laos students studying at Quy Nhon University.

On behalf of the leadership of Quy Nhon University, Doctor Nguyen Dinh Hien expressed his sincere congratulations to the students on the National Day of the Lao PDR and wished the overseas students would overcome difficulties encountered and strive to study and train to achieve the best results in their study at school; and the students will expectedly return to Laos to contributing to the consolidation and preservation of the precious friendship between Vietnam and Laos. Besides, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hien said, Quy Nhon University is committed to providing standard training program for Vietnamese language and specialized knowledge and creating the best conditions for Lao students to achieve good study outcome.
According to the memorandum of understanding that Binh Dinh People's Committee has signed with the government of four southern provinces of Laos, namely Champasak, Attapu, Sekong and Salavan in the period of 2016-2021 in education and training sectors, in 2019, the People's Committee of Binh Binh Province Dinh offers 20 scholarships including 5 scholarships for Sekong province, 5 scholarships in Attapu, 5 scholarships in Champasak, 3 scholarships in Salavan and 2 scholarships in Masters at Quy Nhon University. Besides, Binh Dinh province also supports Champasak province with 10 billion VND to build schools.
