At the meeting, Mr. Lee Hye Jang, Vice President of Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd. Revealed that the Company is interested in exploring investment in the province in the field of waste and wastewater treatment, namely clean water supply works, seawater desalination plants, industrial water supply facilities, urban wastewater treatment facilities, industrial waste water treatment facilities, waste incineration plants, waster - to- energy plant and other environmental protection projects.... In addition, the company is also interested in studying information about projects that can be performed by public-private partnership (PPP) in the province.

Coming to Binh Dinh, Mr. Lee Hye Jang expressed his wish that in the coming time, Samsung Engineering will establish a partnership with Binh Dinh and deploy investment, production and business cooperation in areas such as urban transport infrastructure and Korean technology transfer to local businesses after the completion of the project.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Phan Cao Thang introduced an overview of the province's socio-economic situation, the potentials and strengths of the province and the prioritized areas for investment. The Standing Vice Chairman appreciated Korean investors for making time to explore opportunities and promote investment in Binh Dinh. Mr Phan Cao Thang asserted that currently Binh Dinh has 5 investment projects of Korean enterprises, with a total investment of nearly USD 100 million, significantly the QNY Solar Power Plant Project of the QN Energy Joint Stock Company (granted investment certificate on April 22nd 2019) with total investment capital of USD 69.64 million. The Standing Vice Chairman hoped that in the upcoming time, the company will introduce and bring more Korean corporations and companies to Binh Dinh to make investment.
