FPT builds a university in Quy Nhon city

Binh Dinh provincial People's Committee has lately approved for FPT University to invest in building FPT University - Quy Nhon AI Campus. The total capital of the project is VND 693.9 billion.

 

FPT University won the Top 10 designs of typical educational constructions in 2017

The university will be built in An Phu Thinh urban area in Dong Da and Nhon Binh wards, Quy Nhon city. The construction process is divided into 3 phases as follows:

- In Phase 1 from the third quarter of 2019 to the third quarter of 2022, construction is going to be carried out for the items: Auditorium Beta, soccer field, internal roads, 3 administration houses, technical infrastructure and planting trees and grass. The  total implementation area of Phase 1 is 17,200 m2, design capacity of 1,300 students and 65 lecturers and staff.

- In Phase 2 from the fourth quarter of 2022 to the third quarter of 2024, the construction is going to cover the following items: Auditorium Gamma, Dom A dormitory, 3 administration houses... Total area of Phase 2 is 22,900m2, design capacity of 1,900 students and 90 lecturers and staff.

- In Phase 3 from the fourth quarter of 2024 to the third quarter of 2026, the construction is going to cover the following items: Alpha Building, Dorm B dormitory, cafeteria, gymnasium, swimming pool, 7 administration houses, internal roads of Phase 3 and planting trees.... The total area of Phase 3 is 17,208m2, design capacity of 2,000 students and 90 lecturers and staff.

The project aims to invest in building a university and postgraduate training system and providing educational and scientific research support services. It is expected that the scale of training is about 5,200 students for information technology, business administration and other disciplines.

It is known that FPT University sets a target of training 100,000 students in the whole system by 2020, of which foreign students will account for 15%. The university is focusing on training high quality human resources specialized in information technology, economics, fine arts and other disciplines for domestic businesses and international corporations.
