German and European investors visit Binh Dinh to explore investment opportunities

Recently, at the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Phi Long, and leaders of departments and sectors had a meeting with the delegation of investors from Germany and Europe led by Mr. Marko Walde - Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam to investigate investment opportunities in the province.

 

At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung warmly welcomed the delegation. The Chairman presented a brief introduction of the potential and advantages of the province such as infrastructure, synchronous transport system, abundant labor resources ... Especially, to promote investment in information technology, Binh Dinh province is building Quy Nhon Innonation Valley with an area of 242 hectares in Ghenh Rang ward, Quy Nhon city... Currently, in Binh Dinh province, there are 76 foreign-invested projects (FDI) with a total capital of 744.8 million USD, of which 6 projects are of investors from European countries with total registered capital of more than USD 60 million and 3 projects of German investors with total capital of more than 15 million.

Mr. Marko Walde, Chief Representative of the German Chamber of Industry and Trade thanked the provincial leaders for the respectful reception. He appreciated the potentials and advantages of attracting investment and business environment in Binh Dinh province and pledged to continue to support and connect Binh Dinh with European enterprises in the investment promotion in Binh Dinh.

The members of the delegation said that Binh Dinh is a locality with amazing natural landscape and good security, so it is convenient to develop industries related to creativity. The mission to Binh Dinh aimed to explore the investment and business environment in the province, especially to investigate about Quy Nhon Innovation Valley, high-tech human resources and to study the possibility of cooperation and develop their companies and branches in Binh Dinh.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tung asserted that Binh Dinh is now focusing on developing information technology, scientific research, education and commited that the locality would provide the best support investors for the implementation of projects in Binh Dinh.

After the meeting, the provincial leaders and the concerned departments and agencies took the delegation to visit and survey Quy Nhon Innonation Valley.
