Hyogo prefecture hospital group from Japan studies to invest in an international hospital in Binh Dinh

In the morning of 17th July 2017, at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC), the PPC Deputy Chairman Phan Cao Thang and leaders of relevant departments had a meeting with Hyogo hospital group from Japan led by Mima Takeomi - President of Management Board and also the CEO.

At the meeting, the PPC Deputy Chairman asserted that Binh Dinh was attracting investment from domestic and foreign investors and one of the important projects the province was encouraging invesment was an International Hospital with capital of approximately USD 65, scale of 600-700 beds serving high quality health care needs…
The Deputy Chairman revealed that if Hyogo hospital group is going to make investment in the near future, the leadership will offer clean land in Nhon Hoi new urban area or in Long Van - Long My new urban area in Quy Nhon city for the project.
Mr Mima Takeomi said that is was the second time he came to Binh Dinh; he was very impressed with the fantastic nature and people here and wished to make investment in an international hospital in the area. After investigation of the site, financial report, revenue, incentive policies…, the group aims to construct a hospital of international standard including 5 departments, namely maternity, paediatrics, internal medicine, surgical and physiotherapy departments. In the first stage, the hospital will have 200 beds, covering an area of 5 ha and the investor will bring modern technology from Japan to Vietnam.
In the afternoon of the same day, Hyogo prefecture hospital group surveys two different sites in Quy Nhon city.
At present, Binh Dinh gerenral hospital in co-operation with Cotec Healthcare Investment JS company, the Technical Construction and Building Materials JS company are investing in the expansion part of Binh Dinh gerenral hospital in the form of socialization. The hospital is constructed under international standard of a hospital hotel with specialized departments: Infertility, Andrology, International, Rehabilitation, Dialysis Department… the hospital has capital of VND 1,300 billion, scale of 600 beds and it is expected to uplift the health care service for Vietnamese and foreigners in the locality.
