At the meeting, Chairman Ho Quoc Dung expressed thanks to the Government of New Zealand over the lát many years for their tremendous support to Binh Dinh province in many projects in health, education and agriculture. Especially the sustainable rural livelihoods project, implemented in seven districts/towns in the province, includes four components: safe vegetables, coconuts, livestock and project management. The project has contributed to raising the income of local people, bringing new production methods into production for farmers; many households in and outside the project area have opportunities to learn and produce a variety of agricultural products of high quality.

Chairman Ho Quoc Dung would like Madame Wendy Matthews to continue to support and act as a bridge to introduce and promote the business opportunities from Binh Dinh to New Zealand, to encourage New Zealand entrepreneurs to investigate and make investment in Binh Dinh in education, agriculture, tourism... in the future.

With pleasure, Ms. Wendy Matthews asserted that she was so happy to pay a visit to the coastal city of Quy Nhon, she strongly believed that her visit would be an important contribution to strengthening the relation of Binh Dinh and New Zealand, the relation would be increasingly improved in various fields. She promised to work as a bridge and to urge the New Zealand government to support more projects for Binh Dinh and continue to implement effective projects in the province.

On the same day, the New Zealand Ambassador came to see a number of projects under implementation sponsored by the New Zealand Aid Program in Binh Dinh.
