Binh Dinh attracts VND 12,300 billion of domestic investment and USD 92 million of FDI over the first 5 months 2017

With increasingly improved business environment and policies, Binh Dinh is becoming a promising destination of investors at home and abroad.

Regarding domestic capital, over the last five months in 2017, the province has attracted 47 projects with registered capital of VND 12,239 billion, including 22 projects in tourism-services-trade and real estate; 7 projects in agriculture, 12 projects in industries and 6 projects in other areas.

Regarding foreign investment, until lately the province has issued investment certificates for 6 FDI projects with total registered capital of over USD 92 million. These projects are: a solar and wind power plant of Fujiwara group (Japan) with registered capital of 64 million, a pig farm project (Thailand) with capital of USD 21.2 million, a wood materials and furniture processing plant of Marubeni Lumber company (Japan) with capital of USD 5 million, a garment production plant (Canada) with capital of USD 1.17 million, a water treatment plant project of Sanicon Ltd. (Japan) with total capital of USD 0.2 million and a marble processing project (Japan) with capital of 0.5 million.

 At present, there are 74 foreign direct investment projects in Binh Dinh, total registered capital of almost USD 872 million, investors come from countries with great economic potential such as Japan, France, Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand...
