On 07/10/2016, Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee(PPC) issued a Decision regarding selection criteria of an investor to implementingHa Ra storm shelter area in Phu My district. 

 

On 07/10/2016, Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) issued a Decision regarding selection criteria of an investor to implementing Ha Ra storm shelter area in Phu My district.

The project is to provide shelter for about 500 fishing boats with a capacity of 600 CV, and aims to prevent salinization of arable land along the river from Tra O dam to the estuary, to protect residential area at Ha Ra coastline and the public structures in the area.

The selected investor shall balance expenses of the project works and collected capital from salt-affected soil; it is compulsory that the investor’s equity capital is not less than 20% of the total capital of the project.

After receiving the project proposal, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) shall prepare a report on environmental impact assessment and submits it to the PPC for appraisal and approval.

The selection panel consists of representatives of DARD, Departments: Planning and Investment, Construction, Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Science and Technology; Phu My District People’s Committee. The investors with the average highest score among the attending investors will be selected and proposed to the PPC to be acknowledged as the project investor.
