On 07.28.2015, the provincial people’s committee hasissued Decision No. 2664 /QD-UBND regarding planning of the province’slivestock farming by 2020.

Accordingly, the overall objective is toenhance intensive livestock farming in order to meet the demand for good qualityfood and control diseases on the basis of construction and recognition of disease-freelivestock husbandry area, serving domestic consumption and export.
Poultry and cattle farming plan is dividedfor each region. 26 slaughtering houses are planned on a total area ofapproximately 16.4 hectares. In order to support the output productconsumption, new cooperatives will be established basing on the needs of manufacturedevelopment; cooperation-linkage and connecting manufacture with consumptionare expected to boost production scale, productivity, competitiveness andmarket development. In addition, the province will run workshops on farming andfeed processing techniques, disease prevention and technology transfer for farmers.
Furthermore, the plan also ensuresenvironmental issues, facilitate the establishment of livestock farms, withmedium and large-scale, construction of waste water treatment systems. Constructionof slaughtering houses follows the new and modern design in order to facilitatethe application of high technology and environmental treatment in farmingpractice. The farmers are expected to invest in construction of biogas systemsto control waste from their farms. Poultryand cattle farming model on biological surface is applied.
Totalbudget for the implementation of the husbandry plan is estimated to beapproximately VND 1.731 billion, of which the state budget is around VND 101billion, credit funds VND 984 billion and the remaining 645 billion VND will becontributed by the local people.
