Binh Dinh Provincial People’scommittee (PPC) has lately issued investment license for Bau Da rice winedistillation and production plant of Tan Phat Trade and Mineral CompanyLimited. The project location is in Nhon Loc commune, An Nhon provincial town. Theproject is expected to use 12273.8 m 2.
The project aims toconstruct build a plant of wine distillation and production with capacity of2.7 million litres per year, producing purified bottled water with capacity:2.7 litres per year year. The project isdivided into two stages. In the first stage, , 2.7 milion litres of purifiedwater will be produced. In the second stage, 1.35 million litres of rice wineand herbal wine will be produced. Total capital for the project is around VND40 billlion.
Bau Da rice wine hasbeen well-known as a unique and well-known product of Binh Dinh locality. Productionestablishments of this kind of product is not well-invested; therefore, itsquality is not acknowledged and there is a concern of its harmful substance tohealth when a big amount is used. It is important to invest in a plant capableto organize, produce and maintain good quality products in order to preserve thebrand name of traditional Bau Da wine tradition.
The main material usedin the plant is raw alcohol purchased from producers at Bau Da wine villages,communes of An Nhon provincial town and other nearby areas. In additionthe company will invest in machinery and equipment to produce raw alcohol frommaterial using the traditional cooking method of Bau Da village.
