Amata group (Thailand) looks for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh

From25th December to 26th December 2014, a visiting team ofAmata group (Thailand) led by PhD. Huynh Ngoc Phien, Chairman of ManagementBoard, Amata Vietnam Joint Stock Company, came to Binh Dinh 

 

At the meeting on 26/12/2014,Chairman Ho Quoc Dung introduced potentials of Binh Dinh and list of projects thatthe province is calling for investment. Especially, at present, Binh Dinh isboosting investment in Nhon Hoi oil refinery complex. Therefore, the localgovernment kindly requests Amata group to investigate and develop investment plansin Nhon Hoi economic zone and industrial parks in the locality; also, it isimportant that Amata can make strong influence and draw other investors fromThailand to invest in Binh Dinh.

Ph.D Huynh Ngoc Phienappreciated potentials, advantages and incentive policies of Binh Dinh and madecommitment that after the visit, the team will report to the leaders of Amataand will come back Binh Dinh in the near future to proceed with the next steps.

At the meeting withPresident Nguyen Tan Dung in Bangkok, ThaiLand on 19/12/2014, Chairman ofManagement Board of Amata, Mr. Vikrom Kromadit expressed intention toinvest in a large industrial park in Binh Dinh. This is a survey visit in orderto carry out the plan.    

Amata aims to developIndustrial parks, sets priority for clean industrial parks and high-tech park.Currently, there are more than 1,000 plants in Amata’s industrial park systemwith total value of approximately USD 33 billion.
