Meeting with the local construction businesses

Theconstruction sector has basically completed the tasks set out in 2012,contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province. In 2012, the Department of Construction effectively supportedthe PPC in carrying out state management on construction, urban planning, realestate, housing… A draft plan to adjust the overall planning of Quy Nhon City and vicinity until2030 and orientation to 2050 has been submitted to the PPC. The sector hascooperated with localities and investors in repairing, evaluating andsubmitting for approval of a great many important tasks and planning. In 2013,the sector focuses on implementing a number of key projects, improving theplanning quality especially planning of building new countryside, developinghousing for people with low income and reviewing the assignment of constructionmanagement….

Many enthusiasticopinions were raised at the meeting. In particular, the participants discussedhow to solve the existing debt for completed projects, price compensation for theworks, announcing specific ceiling price to ensure fairness for contractors inbidding process… 

The leader of the PPC acknowledged all comments and opinions anddirected relevant sectors to propose possible solutions to support businesses.
