On 22January 2013, an investment certificate was granted for the project of unbakedbrick plant of Thuy Tien Mineral Co. Ltd.. The plant location is in Dai Thanh Industrialcluster, Phu My district, covering an area of almost 60,000 m2. It has aninvested capital of VND 36 billion with an annual capacity of about 42 million bricks.

It has aninvested capital of VND 36 billion with an annual capacity of about 42 million bricks.
Unbakedbricks are made from common materials such as soil, sand, waste minerals, steelslag, coal slag, solid waste, cement… and some common additives as adhesivecompressed with certain force.
Unbakedbrick production is currently encouraged in the field of construction material manufactureby the Government in our country. Thetechnology helps to make use of less economical source of land such as barrenhills, clay sandy soil, waste solid and tailings of ponds, pits…. It utilizes waste,completely removes the burning process and reduces emissions polluting theenvironment. Especially unbakedbricks are 2 times stronger than traditional bricks.
Theplant will be implemented in March 2013 and expected goes into operation in Septemberthis year.
