Halting additional planning, establishment and expansion of industrial clusters

Implementingthe Directive No.07/CT-TTg dated 27/03/2012 of the Prime Minister, recently the Provincial People’s Committee (PC)has requested related departments and PCs of districts, towns and cities tohalt the additional planning, establishment and expansion of industrialclusters (IC) in localities, waiting for the guidance of the Prime Minister andMinistry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

 

Implementingthe Directive No.07/CT-TTg dated 27/03/2012 of the Prime Minister, recently the Provincial People’s Committee (PC)has requested related departments and PCs of districts, towns and cities tohalt the additional planning, establishment and expansion of industrialclusters (IC) in localities, waiting for the guidance of the Prime Minister andMinistry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

As forthe planning project and additional planning of ICs in the process of preparing,the regulations must be followed; however, during the implementation process, reviewmust be done and directions of the Prime Minister in the Directive No.07/CT-TTgdated 02/3/2012 must be abided by.

TheDepartment of Industry and Trade (DoIT) will cooperate with relevant agenciesin reviewing the planning and operation of ICs in the province, recommendingremedial measures for ICs which are slow in starting up, difficult inattracting investment and not efficient. A a report is to be submitted to the ProvincialPC and the MoIT. At the same time,it is important to review the investment projects in ICs, firmly reject orwithdraw the licenses of projects which are delayed or do not start as registered.
