At the meeting, Mr. LeHuu Loc presented information on the socio-economic situation and the fieldsattracting investment in the province, especially Mr. Le Huu Loc emphasizedthat Japanese companies were the major partners that Binh Dinh province was targetingto invite investment at present.
According to Mr. ZenrouYanagi, Binh Dinh has great potential for investment and development. However, thepromotion of investment environment, opportunities and information related toattracting policies, investment incentives, especially the policies in theindustrial parks to the Japanese investors are very limited. Many Japaneseenterprises have come to different provinces and cities in Vietnam andknown little of Binh Dinh due to lack of information. Therefore, in order toattract Japanese investors, Binh Dinh needs to diversify the promotionactivities to Japanese investors. Mr. ZenrouYanagi also said they would explore the business environment in Binh Dinh and wouldinvest in a plant here. In addition,he promised to assist Binh Dinh in the preparation of content for the promoteinvestment conference planned to take place in Japan by the end this year and inBinh Dinh in June next year.
After the meeting, Mr.Zenrou Yanagi and his colleagues came to visit Quy Nhon sea port, Nhon Hoieconomic zone and Phu Tai industrial park.
