A socio-economiccooperation agreement was signed on 6th February 2012 between BinhDinh and Binh Duong for the stage 2012-2016 in Binh Duong province. It aims at promoting thepotentials and strengths of both localities on the basis of principles ofequality and mutual benefits. The agreement focuses on:

It aims at promoting thepotentials and strengths of both localities on the basis of principles ofequality and mutual benefits. The agreement focuses on:
(i) Two provincesofficially establish a comprehensive cooperation in all fields, especially ineconomy, trade-service, tourism and investment.
(ii) Two provinces will exchange experienceand support each other to enhance the efficiency of state governance, economicmanagement as well as in planning and implementation of the socio-economic development plan in each locality.
(iii) The quality and activities in thecooperation frame of this agreement will be identified in specific projects andprograms.
(iv) The leaders of two sides will organizeannual meetings to review the cooperating progress, discuss the outcomes and adjustthe activities.
Aftersigning, Department of Planning and Investment of two provinces willcollaborate with competent departments and sectors to set up specificprogrammes and plans for cooperation.
