After a searching period, Shaiyo-AA Group of Thailand has proposed an investment plan in Binh Dinh Province with the firstproject of forestry seedling nursery.

Lately, a visiting teamfrom Binh Dinh including leaders Department of Planning and Investment,Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, An Nhon district People’sCommittee, Investment Promotion Centre…has visited the Group in Thailand. MsSiriwan Songmetta, Chairwoman of the Group said in their oversea investmentplan, together with Laos, Cambodia and China, the Seedling Nursery projectin Binh Dinh is one of the next priorities. After that may be a large-scale MDFfactory, cooperation in industrial zone, seaports…
And on 4/10/2011 BinhDinh People’s Committee approved for the proposal of the joint venture to startthe above-mentioned nursery.
Accordingly, the projectwill be implemented in Nam Tuong 3 village, Nhon Tan district on an area of50ha and with a capital of USD 5 million. 28 million seedlings are expected tobe produced annually from the nursery. With high-tech seedlings, the cycle forpaper material will be reduced to 4 years and a good supply of seedlings willbe provided for the province and vicinity region. Song Con Forestry Lt. Companyis the Vietnamese partner of Shaiyo-AA.
Relevant procedures arecarried out to put the project into operation.
