Binh Dinh: the delegation of Vietnam Social Science Instittute and Aarhus University (Denmark) had a meeting with DPI

Binh Dinh, 24 April 2008, Mr Le Van Tam - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) received and had a meeting with the delegation of Vietnam Social Science Instittute and two researchers of Aarhus University - Mr Mads Milkkelsen và Mr Frederick Krogsoee in order to learn about the role of administrative agencies as well as their support in developing private economy.
Binh Dinh, 24 April 2008, Mr Le Van Tam - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) received and had a meeting with the delegation of Vietnam Social Science Instittute and two researchers of Aarhus University - Mr Mads Milkkelsen và Mr Frederick Krogsoee in order to learn about the role of administrative agencies as well as their support in developing private economy.
Two sides exchanged some ralated contents on DPI’s functions including the supporting role in developing private economy, the cooperative relation among DPI with central and local relevant agencies in handling administrative procedures and difficulties of entrepreneurs.
Of the total 2,666 businesses licensed in the province so far, 1,117 are private enterprises. The private economy sector plays an important in socio - economic development, particularly the import - export business. In the first four months alone, this sector has reached the export turnover of USD 114.4 million (accounting for 30% of the province’s total export turnover).
As scheduled, the delegation would have meetings with the delegation of Binh Dinh province’s National Assembly, the Departments of Industry and Trade, Industrial Zones Authority and provincial Statistics Office.
