Work starts on new Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market

On August 18, 2010, An Phu Thinh Development Investment Construction and Tourism JSC started construction of the new Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market. The new market will provide business premises for small business households in  the old Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market, which was destroyed by fire in 2006. Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung attended, awarded investment certificate for the project and issued an order to start the construction.

The new market will provide business premises for small business households in  the old Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market, which was destroyed by fire in 2006. Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung attended, awarded investment certificate for the project and issued an order to start the construction.

The total planned land area in Le Loi ward, Quy Nhon City is around 12,044m2, of which 11,034m2 is for the project, divided into such items as construction area of 4,479m2, transport and yard area of 4,545m2, green tree and internal pavement area of 2,010m2.

It is the first - grade market with national standards on trading of commodities and fresh food. The VND50 billion project is scheduled to be completed in Dec. 2010. Once completed, the new market will provide about 650 kiosks and 800m2 for fresh food market, according to the investor.

Also according to the investor, with spacious ground in convenient location, adjacent the front side of Tang Bat Ho St., Cao Thang St., Dinh Bo Linh St., on the main street of Tran Hung Dao St., and especially near the sea port, the new Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market promises to be a busy trade center in the city.
