With a total registered investment capital of about VND 4,010 billion, the non-tariff zone and industrial park in association with the deep-water port are expected to cover on an area of 600 hectares, including 03 main areas: non-tariff zone (490 hectares), industrial park (70 hectares), deep-water port (40 hectares).
Apart from the main business activities of “exporting commodities”, the non-tariff zone and industrial park in association with the deep-water port will deal in other important trades and services: biotechnology, electronic and information technology, manufacturing technology, electronic mechanics, new material technology, consumer goods, manufacturing mechanics, construction materials, agro-forestry and fisheries processing, post and telecommunications, banking and finance … for needs at home and abroad.
Binh Dinh is one of the five provinces in the Key Economic Region of Central Vietnam, conveniently located in economic exchanges with other provinces at home and abroad. The presence of the non-tariff zone creates motivation for socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province in particular and the Region in general, especially the provinces in the Key Economic Region of Central Vietnam.
