Within the framework of the first Conference for overseas Vietnamese taking place on November 21-23 in Hanoi, Vice chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung attended the meeting themed “Overseas Vietnamese experts, intellectuals contributing to the cause of building home country”. In addition, the Binh Dinh’s delegation also attended the meeting themed “Overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs contributing to the cause of building home country”. Here are two of the four seminars held this time. The two other seminars are: Building up a powerful overseas Vietnamese community of solidarity, success and aspiration for contributions to the fatherland; Preserving and promoting cultural and traditional characters in the overseas Vietnamese community.

The Binh Dinh’s stall was appreciated impressive, eye-catching and attractive, full of information that over 500 delegates all highly appreciated. Especially, the stall has the honour to welcome the guests as important as the Professor Tran Thanh Van and his wife- Professor Le Kim Ngoc, Professor Nguyen Dang Hung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Thanh Son and etc. The contents which the delegates paid attention must talk about Binh Dinh kung fu, Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Bau Da wine. Many visitors plegded to be the bridge to bring the province's wood products to the Hungarian market, placing big orders for rice papers on horseback, cooperating to purchase granite products and participating in the contest of seeking architecture ideas for the new urban area of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.
Mr Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of Conference’s organization board said it is expected the conference would be held every three years. And it was an opportunity for Binh Dinh province to popularize its image to the overseas Vietnamese community, by the way attracting more investors and tourists to the province for investment, business and entertainment, sightseeing.
