Granting 26 scholarships to students of Laos southern provinces

To implement the agreement signed between Binh Dinh Province and southern provinces of Laos on the training of human resources in the school year 2009-2010, the Binh Dinh province and some enterprises will continue to offer 26 scholarships to Lao students studying at the province-based Quy Nhon University. According to the dispatch recently submitted to the headmaster of Quy Nhon University, the provincial People’s Committee informed of granting 12 scholarships to Lao students in Champasak province, 7 scholarships to Sekong province and Attapư province each.

As regards this issue, in the morning of September 7, 2009, at the Office of the provincial People’s Committee, with the authorization of the Chairman, Mr Le Van Tam- Director of the Department of Planning and Investment had a meeting with the delegation of Sekong province (Lao People's Democratic Republic)
