Within the framework of the Conference on Investment Promotion into Binh Dinh Province 2010 which will take place on 20 January 2010, Ground will be also broken and initial construction activities begin on the non-tariff zone project in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone invested by Khang Thong Construction – Trading – Service Joint Stock Company.

On 10 December 2009, the provinccial People’s Committee granted the investment certificate (IC) to Hien Vuong Limited Company for construction of coconut-based products processing plant in Hoai Chau Commune, Hoai Nhon District.

The international real estate conference will take place on December 17-18, it is a event in the framework of international real estate exhibition and conference held by the Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association (HoREA) from 17-20 December 2009 in HCMC.

On September 11, 2009, the Provincial People's Committee granted Investment Certificate for Chu Van An high quality secondary school (converted from Chu Van An semi-public secondary school, Quy Nhon City), invested by Nguyen Hoang Technology Development and Investment Joint Stock Company (NHG), with the total investment capital of over VND42 billion.

In the morning of 14 October 2009, the Inauguration ceremony of Hoa Sen garment factory took place at Nhon Hung Commune, An Nhon District with the presence of Vice chairman Nguyen Huu Loc, representatives of relevant agencies, An Nhon District and especialy 20 foreign investors (trading partners, distributors) coming from different countries. The enterprise established to implement the project is Hoa Sen one-member limited company.

The provincial People’s Committee has just issued the Investment certificate to Hung Vuong Construction and Electromechanical Joint Stock Company to build the hydro mechanical plant at Binh Nghi Industrial Cluster, Tay Son District.

In the first 9 months of 2009, the export activities in the province have been affected by the world economic crisis, so the export market, the price of raw, natural materials are not stable, the value of export turnover continued to decrease against the same period last year. Some businesses, especially wood processing enterprises still have been very difficult in production and consumption of products; stocking material wood and products in bulk.

On 09/09/2009, the provincial People’s Committee granted the invetsment certificate for Thien Phuc Joint Stock Company to invest in the medical glass packaging factory at Quang Trung Industrial Cluster, Quy Nhon City.

On 24 August 2009, the provincial People’s Committee granted the investment certificate to Khang Thinh Limited Company in order to upgrade the forest products processing factory at Canh Vinh Commune, Van Canh District.

The provincial People’s Committee has just issued the dispatch on allotting the land area at 34 Ngo May St., Quy Nhon City to Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company (BIDIPHAR) for constructing the office building. The duration of land allotment shall not exceed 50 years with the collection of one-time land use fee.

In the morning of August 14, 2009, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Iron ore processing factory, invested by the Central Mineral Joint Stock Company, took place at Dien Khanh Hamlet, Hoai Duc Commune, Hoai Nhon District. Those at attendance were Mr Nguyen Van Thien- Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Mr Nguyen Manh Quan- Head of MCI’s Heavy industry department and leaders of related agencies of the province.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has issued the dispatch submitted to the Pime Minister for approval on establishing Tay Son - Binh Dinh Martial Arts Institute. The project is expected to locate at the Quy Hoa sports - ecotourism complex which is planned at Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City and invested by Son My Co., Ltd.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has granted investment certificate to the Rencontres Du Vietnam to construct the International Center for Interdisciplinary Scientific Meetings at Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has just issued the Decision to establish Hoa Hoi Industrial Zone, covering on a planned area of 265 hectares at Cat Hanh Commune, Phu Cat District, Binh Dinh Province. The project is invested by Hoa Hoi Joint Stock Company with the operation period of 50 years.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has just issued the dispatch to agree in principle on constructing the Technical Worker Training School invested by Sao Vang  Construction - Trading - Investment Joint Stock Company (HCMC) in order to train and provide skilled worker force for the province and labour export.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has just released the dispatch to permit Hoan Cau Tourism Joint-Stock Company to be the investor in constructing and operating the technical infrastructure of Go Son Industrial Cluster locating at Nhon Tan Commune, An Nhon District.

On 25 June 2009, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province released the Decision to revoke the investment certificate No. 351043000066 dated 4 December 2007, licenced to Mr Pham Hong- director of Nhat - Viet Import Export Limited Company for failing to implement the project as pledged in IC and failing to make reports of business and investment activities in 12 consecutive months.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has just agreed in principle to allow the Binh Dinh Province's Association of Timber and Forest Products to construct a centre for exhibition & services of wood industry covering an area of 4.2 hectares at Bui Thi Xuan Ward, Quy Nhon City.
