Binh Dinh Province’s motto in inviting investment is "taking a step ahead in preparation of socio-economicinfrastructure andadministrative reform, welcome and retain investors." 

During February, despite long Lunar New Yearholiday, Binh Dinh Provinceissued certificates for  03 investmentprojects with total registered capital of almost VND 300 billion, achieving 6% theyear plan of attracting VND 5,000 billion. Accordingly, a new FDI projectproducing zircon powder (capacity of 10,000 tonnes/year and invested capital ofUSD 6 million) and 02 domestic projects were issued investment certificates. 

On themorning of 27^th February, the Provincial People's Committee (PPC)held a meeting with construction businesses in the province. It was an opportunity for businesses, consulting anddesigning enterprises to exchange experiences, make recommendations of solutionsfor the difficulties in the construction sector of the province. TheDeputy Chairman of the Provincial People'sCommittee, Mr Ho Quoc Dung chaired the meeting. Photo: The meeting scene.

On 22January 2013, an investment certificate was granted for the project of unbakedbrick plant of Thuy Tien Mineral Co. Ltd.. The plant location is in Dai Thanh Industrialcluster, Phu My district, covering an area of almost 60,000 m2. It has aninvested capital of VND 36 billion with an annual capacity of about 42 million bricks.

On the morning of 23^rd 2012, the Ministry of Transport and Binh Dinh Province People's Committee held a ceremony to kick off the construction of National Highway 19 route from Quy Nhon seaport to National Highway 1A intersection in the city of Quy Nhon. The event was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Secretary of the National Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; the Binh Dinh provincial leaders and leaders of the relevant departments 

Recently,the Provincial People's Committee has approved in writing for the ConstructionJoint Stock Company 47 to carry out the procedures for constructing a light-weightedconcrete brick factory in Phuoc Thanh commune, Tuy Phuoc district.

On05/11/2012, a letter was issued by the PPC to approve for C&T InternationalJoint Stock Company of the CT Group to start their Service Trade Centre projectin Bong Son town (opposite Bong Son Market) in the land of 4082.5 m2, with atotal invested capital of about VND 65 billion.

In theyear 2012, Binh Dinh has reviewed all the projects granted investmentcertificates or approval for investment in the area order to accelerate theirprogress and withdraw the projects’ licences which are not implemented or carriedout too slowly.

A project of Russian sturgeon centre in the village of K3, Vinh Son, Vinh Thanh district has lately been granted investment certificate. It is invested by Vietnam-Binh Dinh Russian sturgeon Company Limited, with a capital of almost VND 297 billion.

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh Provinceissued a letter on 29^th August 2012 approving for Binh Dinh SaltCompany Ltd. to invest in a clean salt production model in PhuMy district.

On 23 July 2012, Binh Dinh ProvincialPeople’s Committee granted Investment Certificate for Tay Son Vinatex Supermarketproject of Vietnam Textile Fashion Limited Company.

Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee hasapproved for Binh Dinh Tunnel Brick Joint Stock Company to carry out procedures for its project of unburntbrick-Light concrete and synthetic mineral polymer brick in Phu My Village 2,Phuoc Loc Commune, Tuy Phuoc District.

An approval has been given lately for BinhDinh Vietnam Sturgeon Lt. Company to expand the area for farming and processingsturgeon products in Vinh Son commune, Vinh Thanhdistrict from 5,230m2 to 65,978m2. After a period of survey and construction of the project, Shaiyo AA International Holding Ltd. Company (Thailand) has decided to invest the project " High tech nursery’ in Binh Dinh with 100% foreigncapital. Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee granted an investmentcertificate for this project on 28th June 2012.

On30/4/2012, in Danang, the Central Coast Coordination Team and the Development ResearchFund organized a Conference on ‘Reviewing one-year implementation of activitieslinking the central coastal provinces’.  

Binh Dinh Hydro PowerJoint-Stock Company conducted a launching ceremony of Ken Lut Ha Hydro Power Plantconstruction on 24^th March 2012 (picture).The ceremony was attended by Mrs Tran Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Chairman of theProvincial People’s Committee (PPC) and representatives of concerneddepartments and sectors.
