Lately, the PPC hasissues a decision to establish Hoai Huong industrial cluster covering 11.8ha inThien Duc village, Hoai Huong commune, Hoai Nhon district

Main business lines encouraged for the new cluster are seafoodprocessing, fish sauce, logistics, mechanical processing and production andother consumer product manufacture with minimal pollution risks

Inthe morning of 10^th May, Cargill Feed & Nutrition Company under CargillGroup inaugurated the extended feed mill projectof USD 20 million in Binh Dinh province, one of the eight feed mill plants inthe system in Vietnam,raising this plant’s capacity from 60,000 to 240,000 tons/year.

On 03/4/2014, aninvestment licence was issued for Hoang Phien Private Enterprise investing in amechanical factory manufacturingindustrial and farm machinery in Dai Thanh Industrial Cluster, My Hiep commune,Phu My district on an area of 16,687.5m2. 

On themorning of 20/3/2014, the announcement of Provincial Competitiveness Index(PCI) 2013, held by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), took placein Ha Noi with participation of the central government representatives andlocalities’ leaders. The Deputy of Binh Dinh PPC, Mr Ho Quoc Dung attended thisevent.

On 05/3/2014, BInh Dinh ProvincialPeople’s Committee made approval for Thanh Chau Import-Export Company Limitedto invest in building infrastructure of Binh Nghi industrial park - Nhon Tan ward.

On 15^th January 2014, leaders of the Provincial People’sCommittee (PPC) and leaders of several Departments and sectors had a meetingwith the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex)and Bien Dong Seafood Company Limited to discuss investment in a garmentcomplex and shrimp processing plant for export in Binh Dinh

BinhDinh provincial People's Committee has agreed in principle for Bach Khang Investment Joint Stock Company toinvest in the project Venue No.3 - Quy Nhon-Song Cau tourism,service route.

An investment license dated 10/29/2013 has been granted for Bong Son Garment Factory project of VINATEX Bong Son Garment Factory Co., Ltd. The factory is constructed in Bong Son industrial cluster, Bong Son town, Hoai Nhon district. Land area to be used is approximately 6.8 hectares. The factory is going to invest 51 production lines of suits with capacity of 1.98 million products/year, employing 3,226 employees, with total capital of over VND 205 billion.

Vietnam - JapanEconomic Summit 2013 (VJES 2013) will be held in Ha Noi from 04- 06/9/2013 . Thisevent is to celebrate 40th anniversary of diplomatic relation between the twocountries, organized the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (VCCI),Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japan Economic Times - NikkeiBusiness Publications (Nikkei BP). It isexpected that around 500 guests will come to this event. Photo:Booth Perspective.

On28.06.2013, Green Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company (Binh Dinh Xanh) was approvedto start its investment in building a sow farm in Nam Tuong village, Nhon Tancommune, An Nhon town. The project has a totalinvestment of over 92 billion.

On05/31/2013 in Quy Nhonc city, Department of Industry and Trade and theAssociation of Paper and Carton Packaging in Binh Dinh jointly organized aseminar on "Opportunities and challenges for paper and carton packagingindustry in Binh Dinh during 2013 and subsequent years". The seminar was attended by representatives of various departments, banks and allmembers of the association. 

A seminarto review 2 years of implementing the Directive 07 of the Provincial People’sCommittee  (PPC) and solutions tomaintain high Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) ranking in the coming yearswas held in Quy Nhon city by the PPC in collaboration with Da Nang branch ofVietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on the morning of 16th May 2013. 

Estimatedly,each year our country consumes about 20 billion bricks and by 2020, the numberof bricks needed for construction of the whole country will be over 40 billion bricks/year. To meet the demand, using burned soil will take away a lot of arableland and cause bad impact on food security. A large amount of fossil coal and firewoodused to burn bricks leads to deforestation and consequently causes ecologicalimbalance, affects livestock environment and human health in the long term.Therefore, the Decision No.567/2010/QĐ-TTg approving the development ofunburned construction material until 2020 has been issued by the Prime Ministerto accelerate investment in the industry.
