Training 4 medical students for Attapu Province


The provincial People’s Committee just issued the Decision on granting additional VND 140 million, from the annual training expenditure allocated for the Binh Dinh Health College, to train 4 Laotian students who are attending the medical intermediate course in the College. The funding source includes training cost, expenses for food, learning material, train or car fare, health insurance and etc.


Delegation from Laos’ Champasak province visits Binh Dinh


Champasak province led by Mr Nalongsak Xattakoun - Director of Champasak’s DPI. Joining the meeting are leadership representatives of Departments of Industry and Trade, Education and Training, Health, Agriculture and rural Development, Binh Dinh’s Vietnamese - Laos Friendship Association and Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company.


Survey on international convention center and resort in Quy Nhon


Binh Dinh, 20 August 2008, Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc received and had talk with Mr and Mrs Jean Tran Thanh Van - professor, PhD, Vietnamese residents in France, representatives of Rencontres de Vietnam (head office in France). Those in attendance at the meeting included the Departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, the Quy Nhon People’s Committee. 


Binh Dinh: the delegation of Vietnam Social Science Instittute and Aarhus University (Denmark) had a meeting with DPI


Binh Dinh, 24 April 2008, Mr Le Van Tam - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) received and had a meeting with the delegation of Vietnam Social Science Instittute and two researchers of Aarhus University - Mr Mads Milkkelsen và Mr Frederick Krogsoee in order to learn about the role of administrative agencies as well as their support in developing private economy.


The delegation of NZAID’s experts paid a working visit to Binh Dinh


Binh Dinh, 16 Apr 2008 - Vice chairman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh received and had a meeting with the delegation of NZAID’s experts on its visit to examine possibilities designed for the third phase of ELTO (English Language Training for Officials) programme. Joining the meeting are the representatives of Quy Nhon University, VSA Organization located in Binh Dinh and participants who have joined the course of ELTO in New Zealand.

In the morning of April 7, 2008, at the office of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee, Mr Pham Van Thanh - Permannent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Mr Le Huu Loc - Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee received and had a meeting with the high-ranking delegation of Champasak Province (Laos) led by Mr Savang Sihavong - Deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee, head of the delegation, head of the organization board on learning from Binh Dinh’s experience in organizing, directing and establishing the hunger elimination, poverty reduction program. 


Binh Dinh financially help Attapư Province and Sekong Province (Laos) with VND300 mil


Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee has just had an official dispatch to assign the Department of Planning and Investment in association with relevant agencies to implement the assistance program worth VND300 million which is aimed to support Attapư Province and Sekong Province (Laos) to purchase educational instruments and broadcasting equipment. Accordingly, Attapư Province will receive VND200 million in assistance while the remaining VND100 million will be for Sekong Province. 


Binh Dinh will grant scholarships to Lao students


Under the signed agreement between Binh Dinh Province and Laos' southern provinces, from now until 2010, every school year, Binh Dinh Province will offer 35 scholarships to Lao students studing at the province-based Quy Nhon University. Accordingly, Thirteen scholarships will be awarded to students from Champasak Province, fifteen to those from Sekong Province and seven to those from Attapư Province. 


Delegation of Yongsan district - Seoul city and Yanggu district - Gangwon province (South Korea) visites Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province


On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the establishment and development of the friendship and cooperation between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district, from September 16, 2019 to September 19, 2019, Mayor Sung Jang Hyun organized for the delegation to pay an official visit to the leaders of Binh Dinh province and Quy Nhon city to discuss the Investment Promotion Workshop in Korea in October 2019, attending the awarding ceremony: charity houses, a kindergarten in Phuoc My commune; awarding a happy bus to Quy Nhon city; presenting medical donation; signing a memorandum of understanding between Yanggu district, Gangwon province, South Korea and Quy Nhon city; signing a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation to promote economic and tourism growth between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district; making a survey and exploring investment in a number of sectors through SEE Investment Promotion Company in Yongsan district.
