The Provincial People's Committee has decided to appoint Kien Hoang Investment Joint Stock Company to be the investor of the Tran Phu road project in Binh Dinh ward of An Nhon town in the form of BT (building-transfer). An Nhon town People’s Committee is also authorized to collaborate with the investor in the execution of the project.

On 7th November, at the office of the Provincial People's Committee, the Vice Chairman of the People's committee, Mr Ho Quoc Dung had a meeting with senior officials from Champasak province, Lao PDR, led  by the the Deputy of Champasak province. The purpose of the visit was to discuss and exchange experiences on implementation of restructuring, developing and improving the effectiveness of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

On the afternoon of 16 October 2012, at the Provincial People’sCommittee, the Chairman Le Huu Loc had a meeting with Ms. PanpimonSuwannapongse, the current Consul-General of Thailandfrom Ho Chi Minh City.

On 20^thSeptember 2012, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai City, Japan incollaboration with Binh Dinh People's Committee held an investment promotion seminarin the seafood area in Sakai. BinhDinh Chairman, Mr Le Huu Loc (picture) and the president of the Japan-VietnamFriendship Association in Sakai, Mr Kato Hitoshichaired the seminar with the attendance of seven 

On the morning of 05/6/2012, themid-term meeting of Consultative Group for Vietnam in 2012 (mid-term CG)opened in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province. Themeeting was to discuss about poverty reduction and natural disaster mitigation.

A socio-economiccooperation agreement was signed on 6^th February 2012 between BinhDinh and Binh Duong for the stage 2012-2016 in Binh Duong province. It aims at promoting thepotentials and strengths of both localities on the basis of principles ofequality and mutual benefits. The agreement focuses on:

On 5/12/2011, Binh Dinhand Ho Chi Minh Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony reviewing5 year tourism cooperation between two localities in the stage 2004-2009 andsigned for more cooperation in the stage 2012-2017. Mr Ho Quoc Dung, theProvincial Deputy Chairman attended the event.

In the morning of 10^th January, at the office of the Provincial People’s Committee, the high-ranking delegation of Champasak Province, Laos led by Mr. Somsanit Buttivong, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Chairman of Champasak Province was warmly welcomed. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Permanent Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tro, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council and leaders of provincial departments and agencies.

On 25 September 2010, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province Nguyen Van Thien had talks with a Thai delegation of 45 people led by Mr. Pisanu Chanvitan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Viet Nam. Also joining the delegation were Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Laos, Consulates general in Savanakhet province (Laos) and HCMC, Chairman of Ubon Ratchthani province (Thailand) representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and press reporters.

On the morning of March 31, 2010, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien received and worked with Vietnamese business delegation in Ukraine led by Mr. Le Viet Lam, Chairman of Vietnamese Business Organization in Ukraine on the occasion of his visit to Binh Dinh to seek investment and business opportunities.

On March 15, at the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Vu Hoang Ha, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr Nguyen Van Thien, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee received and worked with the high - ranking delegation of Champasak province led by Mr Sucan Mahalat, Member of Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), Secretary of Champasak Party Committee.

The Provincial People's Committee has just had the Decision on sending the delegation of provincial officials to work in the Southern provinces of Laos (Champasak, Attapu, Sekong, Salavan) to prepare contents for evaluating the achieved results of five - year implementation of co-operation program between Binh Dinh Province and the Southern provinces of Laos for period 2006 - 2010 and co-operation plan for the next period.

In the morning of 1 October, 2009, in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People's Committee Le Huu Loc and the related agencies of the province received and worked with the delegation of Dak Nong province, led by Mr. Tran Quoc Huy, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee.

In the morning of September 7, 2009, Ms Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh- Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee had a working session with Mr David Albrecht- consultant of urban infrastructure of CARO consulting company (France) on the occasion of its visit to Quy Nhon to seek plans for future development in the fields of water supply and drainage, environment sanitation, urban infrastructure, transportation and social housing; ODA funded projects; projects calling for investment and concerns of the province and the city with the plans.

To implement the agreement signed between Binh Dinh Province and southern provinces of Laos on the training of human resources in the school year 2009-2010, the Binh Dinh province and some enterprises will continue to offer 26 scholarships to Lao students studying at the province-based Quy Nhon University. According to the dispatch recently submitted to the headmaster of Quy Nhon University, the provincial People’s Committee informed of granting 12 scholarships to Lao students in Champasak province, 7 scholarships to Sekong province and Attapư province each.

In the afternoon of 4 August 2009, at the Office of the Binh Dinh People’s Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien had a meeting with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), led by Mr Ivan Nimac - Manager of the Business Enabling Environment Program, IFC Sydney, Australia. Joining the meeting are representatives of the Departments of Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Home affairs, the Economic Zone Authority and the Office of the provincial People’s Committee.
