On 05/11/2014, theprovincial people’s committee granted approval for Tan Phat Mineral Trade CompanyLtd.  to prepare for investment in anecological area in Cu Lao Xanh island, Nhon Chau commune, Quy Nhon city. Theproject has total capital of VND 40 billlion, with the purpose of meeting therecreational demand of people.

On02^nd November 2014, Vietnam-Laos Cooperation Department, the Associtionof Vietnamese Investors in Laos (AVIL) and the Vietnamese Bank for Investmentand Development and Binh Dinh province collaborated to hold a ‘Forum on economic cooperation between Highland, CentralSouthern provinces of Vietnam and Central Southern provinces of Laos’ in QuyNhon city.

On 22nd October 2014,Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee led a delegation to visit Hokugancompany in Okiwana province– Japan. It was the sixth day of Binh Dinh visit to Japan inorder to promote investment  for the province from 17/10 – 25/10/2014.

Onthe morning of 30/9/2014, in the office of Ministry of Industry and Trade(MoIT), Ha Noi. the evaluation council of the petrochemical refinery projectin Nhon Hoi economic zone, Binh Dinh province approved the feasibility reportof the project

Approvalhas been issued for Nhon Tan Logistics Joint Stock Company to invest in alogistics centre called Central New PortLogistics centre in Binh Nghi commune,Tay Son district.

BinhDinh Provincial People’s Committee has granted an investment certificate forHoang Gia General Manufacture Company Limited to execute a garment and woodproduct manufacture factory for export.

On12^th September 2014, Mr Le Huu Loc, Chairman of Binh Dinh ProvincialPeople’s Committee had a meeting with Mr Giorgio Palmucci,Chairman of Italian Tourism Association, Management board’s member ofFederturismo Confindustria Tourism Group who came to the locality to find outtourism cooperation opportunities.

 

In the morning of 29/8/2014, the Vietnam Chamber ofCommerce and Industry (VCCI) held the conference “Best practice in improving provincialbusiness environment” at Northern hotel, Da Nang city. The conference wasattended by the Chairman of VCCI and more than 100 representatives ofdepartments and sectors and specialists of Bac Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Thai Nguyen,Tuyen Quang provinces and the Central – Highlands Region.

Truong Thinh General Tradeand Investment Joint Stock Company has been approved to carry out constructionand trade of infrastructure of An MoIndustrial Cluster (IC) in Nhon Tan and Nhon Tho communes, An Nhon provincialtown.

In the frame of International Grapes and Wine Festival 1^st time in Ninh Thuan province, on 18/7/2014, the Central coastal region Coordination Board in cooperation with Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee held Conference on tourism development in the Central coastal region in connection with the Highlands at Sai Gon-Ninh Chu hotel, Ninh Hai district, Ninh Thuan province.

Recentlythe PPC has approved for Sai Gon Environmental Technology and ConstructionCorp. (Senco) to prepare the project of Ha Thanh waste water treatmentplant  in Quy Nhon city.

On 9/3/2014,leaders of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province hosted Mr Le Huu Phuoc,Management Board Chairman of Hoa Sen group Joint Stock Company. Mr Tran DuLich, Deputy of National Assembly Delegation in Ho Chi Minh city, also participated in themeeting.

On 27/2/2014,At Muong Thanh hotel, Quy Nhon city, the South Africa Embassy in Vietnam and the Chamber of Commerce and Industryin Da Nang held a Seminaron Trade-Investment and Tourism promotion for South Africa - Vietnam.The seminar is to open up opportunities of trade, investment and tourism forBinh Dinh enterprises to South Africa market.

On 16 ^th February, at Van Thanh Tourist Area, Ho Chi Minh city, A festival day of Binh Dinh People was held in warm and joyful atmosphere, connecting Binh Dinh People Together and with the locality 

In recent years, Binh Dinh has carried out activities to develop parnership and comprehensive cooperation with different localities in Japan in order to attract their investors to Binh Dinh.

On the afternoon of 02.03.2014 (Day 4th of Traditional Tet), in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province People's Committee in collaboration with the Association of Entrepreneurs and Binh Dinh Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) organized a special first meeting and urged entrepreneurs to promote investment in the province on the occasion of new lunar year.

Over the last few years, under the direction of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), the Department of Planning and Investment has actively coordinated with relevant agencies, to advise the PPC in organizing activities to promote the province’s image communities at home and abroad, especially conferences to promote investment in Binh Dinh and large-scale investment of national and regional level.

Implementing Resolution No. 103/NQ-CP dated 29.08.2013 of the Prime Minister regarding orientation on improving efficiency of attracting, using and managing foreign direct investment (FDI) in the upcoming time. A list of 22 project profiles calling for FDI in the province has been developed and submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Investment and to the Prime Minister for approval. They are also the projects calling for investment in the period 2013 - 2015, namely:

On the morning of 14^th October 2013, at the Provincial People’s Committee Office, the Chairman Le Huu Loc, and representatives of the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development and Binh Dinh Seafood Joint Stock Company had a meeting.

On27/08/2013, Binh Dinh PPC had a meeting with Thai Son Group and its partners, agroup of Arab investors who were interested in the development of wind power andseaport projects in the province. The meeting wasattended by the Secretary Nguyen Van Thien, Chairman Le Huu Loc, Deputy Chairmanof the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung and representatives of the departmentsconcerned.
