Seminar on how to maintain and improve Binh Dinh PCI

Accordingto results of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), PCI 2012 of Binh Dinhranked 4/63 provinces, up 34 places compared with 2011 (38th) and inthe Good group of the ranking.

In orderto maintain and improve the PCI in the following years, the Provincial People'sCommittee (PPC) in collaboration with the branch ofVietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (Da Nang VCCI) held a seminar on ‘Reviewing2 years Directive No.07 Implementation and solutions to maintain high PCI in thefollowing years’. The seminar will take place on Thursday, 16th May 2013 at Hoang Yen hotel, Quy Nhon city.

 

In orderto maintain and improve the PCI in the following years, the Provincial People'sCommittee (PPC) in collaboration with the branch ofVietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Da Nang (Da Nang VCCI) held a seminar on ‘Reviewing2 years Directive No.07 Implementation and solutions to maintain high PCI in thefollowing years’. The seminar will take place on Thursday, 16th May 2013 at Hoang Yen hotel, Quy Nhon city.

The Directive 07/CT-UBND dated 10/6/2011 of the PPC issued a numberof key measures of direction and governance of the implementation of provincialcompetitiveness index, focusing on 9 component indices namely reducing cost ofmarket entry, land access, transparency of information access, reducing to theminimum unofficial costs for businesses, reducing time cost of implementingregulations, enhancing dynamic and pioneering leadership at all levels, boostingbusiness support services, training and labor and legal institutions.

The implementationof Directive 07 will be assessed, PCI 2012 and the position of Binh Dinh in thecountry’s PCI scheme analyzed and solutions to maintain the PCI 2013 proposed. Also, rewards and acknowledgement will be presented fororganizations and agents contributing to the achievements in implementingDirective No. 07 of the PPC at the seminar.
