TheMinistry of Industry and Trade has approved the planning of the ground andshared items of Binh Dinh Power Centre with total capacity of 5,200 MW.Accordingly, the Power Centre in Phu Cat district has 3 factories. The first phase is expected tocomplete a plant with 2 units of capacity 600 MW units, each stage 2 and 3 willhave a plant with two 1000 MW units.

Thetotal land area of Binh Dinh Power Centre covers approximately 341.62hectares (not including the corridor area and the lines connecting the nationalpower grid, water supply construction and operation, resettlement and portwater area), including the main plant area, ash dump, distribution field androads outside the center.
At present, Sai Gon Binh Dinh Energy Stock Company is the investorof the infrastructure of the whole Centre and the first stage of the plant. STFECompany (Thailand)is fulfilling necessary procedures to invest in other plants here.
