Binh Dinh Province’s delegation pays a visit to Bangkok Assay Office Group in Thailand

On the morning of February 28, 2024, the delegation of Binh Dinh province visited Bangkok Assay Office Group in Thailand had a meeting with Mr Peter Palanugool - Chairman of the Group.

Bangkok Assay Office Group was established in 1985, and is one of Thailand's largest corporations investing in multiple areas. Recently, the Group signed an Investment Memorandum with Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Planning and Investment to conduct a survey and research on an e-waste treatment plant with an expected investment value of VND 2,400 billion.

Mr. Peter Palanugool - Chairman of the Group, who has visited Vietnam and Binh Dinh many times, pledged to work with a number of Thai agencies and units to support Binh Dinh in developing a number of areas that the province needs, especially is in science and technology, health education, environment, agriculture, smart cities, AI for health sector.

With the current capabilities of Bangkok Assay Office Group, at the meeting, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee proposed that the Group implement projects that have signed investment memorandums and study to make investment in the fields which Bangkok Assay Office and Thailand have strengths.

On this occasion, Binh Dinh province respectfully invited the Group's leaders to Binh Dinh to attend the Formula 1 powerboat race F1H2O Grand Prix and Aquabike Grand Prix 2024 and the Investment Promotion Conference 2024 in Binh Dinh province, which would take place at the end of March 2024 in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh).

In the afternoon of the same day, the Binh Dinh province delegation visited the Beauty Gems jewelry factory, belonging to the Bangkok Assay Office Group, where 6,000 workers are working.
